How to reach The Mulberry House School

You can see a map of the immediate area near the school on the Contact Us page.

We encourage parents to walk with their children to school. To help in other ways, we offer…

..thanks to space we have on-site for those children who scoot or cycle to and from school.

There are also several cycle rack spaces available outside the second school on the corner of Minster Rd and Shoot-Up Hill, ideal for those parents dropping off, or collecting.

For those living further away from the school…

Buses serving routes 16, 32, 189 and 316 all stop within one minute’s walk of the school along Shoot-Up Hill / Cricklewood Broadway. Bus C11 stops close to the school on Westbere Rd.

  • Kilburn Underground station (Jubilee Line) is approx. 5 mins. walk away.
  • Brondesbury Rail station (North London Line) is approx. 7 mins walk away, near to Kilburn underground station
  • Cricklewood Rail station (Thameslink) is approx. 15 mins. walk away.

Plan your journey using the Transport For London journey planner on the TFL website or using the journey-planner tool on this page. This is pre-loaded with our address, so just add your starting location to plan your journey.

There is free parking on single yellow lines outside the school on Minster Rd until 8.30am, with additional but extremely limited meter parking at other times until 6.30pm. Some free parking is available in both Westbere Rd and Lichfield Rd, except 10am to midday when either meter-payments or else resident-only restrictions apply. Additional meter parking bays are available in many nearby roads off Cricklewood Broadway including Manstone Rd and Walm Lane. Please check all parking restriction notices for up-to-date details, since these are liable to change.

Camden Council would like to inform parents that, after a six-month review of its cross-party strategy on the School Run, it has agreed to continue with the policy of reducing dispensation permits for car parking in residential areas in the Borough. Camden will enforce this parking policy. Pay and Display bays may be available in the school vicinity, but there are very few of them. You may therefore be interested to enquire about our school travel plan, which gives advice and support on travelling to school in a more environmentally sustainable way.

An independent company, Transport4Schools, provides bus services for many schools across London. Whilst none of the current routes include our school they are always looking for new routes. If you feel that this service could meet your particular needs do contact them via
