Mauritius Oil Spill Project

The Prep classes took part in an exciting project learning about the oil spill and the danger it has caused to the environment. The children have studied the island of Mauritius and looked at how the animals and their habitats were impacted by this. To engage their learning throughout the week, the children on-site and at home took part in different activities from challenges to news reports. Furthermore, the children took part in a fundraising to raise money for Durrell Trust to help rescue the reptiles that were harmed by the oil spill.
