This term Prep III held their annual science fair and created independent projects to solve some of the water issues that the world faces, including droughts, water pollution and filtration. Throughout the day the children took part in a number of STEAM related projects. They started the day by having a workshop lead by a STEM ambassador where they investigated the PH scale and made Elephant toothpaste. Later, they had a talk from a WaterAid representative inspiring them to create their own science journal and organise a water warrior’s day to raise money for this charity. In the afternoon an architect joined the class and introduced the children to materials and the profession of architecture. They even had the chance to build their own lollipop towers!
