Transition’s visit to Whipsnade Zoo

By May 20, 2019June 1st, 2020No Comments

As part of the children’s project this term, Transition have been learning about butterflies. They have learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly, feeding habits, their ecosystems and how each butterfly is unique and different. Thereafter, on Friday 10th & 17th May 2019 the children have been enjoying trips to Whipsnade Zoo. This provided the opportunity for the children to explore the butterfly house and learn more about a butterfly’s habitat, what they like to eat and where we might find them in the wild! We also were very lucky to visit the Brown Bears, Chimpanzee’s, Penguins and Farm animals.
