At The Mulberry House School our mission is to guide our pupils through their early education. We are a leading pre-preparatory school in London working in close partnership with parents and families. As a popular feeder school we are committed to providing the highest level of education and care for all pupils in a diverse, comforting and inspirational environment.
We teach children between the ages of 2 and 7, helping them prepare for the next stage of their education in a leading prep school in London. Our curriculum covers core subjects such as literacy and numeracy, while also extending into more creative areas that encourage and empower critical thinking and a willingness for intellectual exploration. Our pupils are given every opportunity to express themselves across a broad spectrum of subjects, enabling them to celebrate their achievements and build self-esteem and confidence that will put them in good stead for the years ahead.

In addition to supporting pupils in their individual development, we also help them to understand and cooperate with their peers. This builds a stronger capacity to adapt to a changing world around them, nurturing their ideas within an inclusive space that develops a stronger community for all.
Throughout their early years, school life accounts for much of a child’s day-to-day activities. We believe it is important to help them gain a better understanding of the world and their place within it. Being able to empathise and accept others through their beliefs, feelings and values, makes it easier for children to evolve into confident young adults.
As such, our Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) education plays a central role in our practical and philosophical approach to teaching children. This works perfectly in tandem with the academic development of our pupils, providing greater context and encouraging them to engage more deeply with the subjects being taught.
SMSC and Wellbeing
As a non-selective school, we have a fantastic record of successfully preparing for some of London’s leading schools.The health and wellbeing of our pupils is always our main priority. By creating a nurturing environment for our pupils, we set the stage to help them understand the world around them. Being present in this type of environment every day is why so many of our pupils go on to achieve better results than the national average across all subjects. And yet this is achieved without the need to set homework and overburden children attending our pre-preparatory school in London.

First come, first served
At The Mulberry House School, we work on a first come, first served basis. Occasional places may come up from time to time, but most of our pupils stay with us from the ages of 2 to 7+. We recommend applying early to a better chance of admission in our school. We typically take children from the first term after their 2nd birthday.
On occasion, places are available for entry into the pre prep school, however, these tend to be filled very quickly, so we recommend applying at an earlier age to avoid disappointment. Open evenings are regularly made available for parents who wish to place their children under our tutelage, giving you an opportunity to explore our grounds in person to see what makes us one of the most sought after pre-preparatory schools in London.
