History of the School

Mulberry House School was established with a focus on providing children between the ages of 2 and 7+ years with an exceptional standard of education and care. The school’s founding ethos centres on the belief that every child is unique, with individual needs and talents. Working closely with parents, the school aims to ensure that each child’s initial experience is both secure and enriching, positioning the school as a place where children come eagerly each day and leave with a sense of achievement and pleasure. Mulberry House has created an environment that fosters academic excellence while nurturing the emotional and social aspects of each pupil’s development. This holistic approach is deeply embedded in the curriculum, which is designed to cater to the diverse needs of its population. Their approach combines traditional academic subjects with creative arts, physical education, and character development, offering a well-rounded education that prepares each pupil for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Parental involvement is really important to all stakeholders. The school has an open-door policy, allowing parents to engage actively in their child’s education. This partnership between the school and parents has created a supportive community that enhances the educational experience for every pupil. Yearly events, parent-teacher meetings, and other interactive platforms keep the parent community well-informed and involved, reinforcing the school’s commitment to educational partnership. Mulberry House’s success has meant that it has had a natural expansion in both infrastructure and pupil numbers. The introduction of new facilities and by embracing technology in the classroom, integrating digital tools to complement traditional teaching methods, has created a dynamic learning environment and kept the school at the forefront of educational innovation.
