Book Week 2023

This week marks our annual Book Week for 2023, a fun few days celebrating and promoting the importance of reading in our daily lives. We had author, Neal Zetter visit the children to talk about his poetry books including, ‘When the Bell Goes’ and ‘The Universal Zoo’. Neal hosted a fun interactive workshop for all our classes focusing on building the children’s confidence with their literacy and communication skills. Children’s author, Michelle Peet, also visited the school to read her book, ‘Molly and Moo’. Michelle spoke to the children about the process of creating and writing a story. It has been a wonderful few days, culminating in a special Book Day Parade today! Take a look at some of the characters that joined us!
